Stan Sulzmann is without question one of the most highly respected musicians in the U.K. Starting his career in the 1960's, he has had long-term associations with Kenny Wheeler and John Taylor, formed his own small groups and Big Band and performed with musicians including Gil Evans, Michael Brecker, Mike Gibb, the Kenny Clark/Francy Bolam Big Band and played throughout Europe and the world.
He is an experienced teacher, having been Director of Jazz Studies at Exeter University and taught regularly at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and the Academy of Contemporary Music London.
