ADVANCED IMPROVISORS PATHWAY Dates: 17 - 24 August 2025
This pathway is for experienced instrumentalists (including drums) and offers a progression from our regular offer, other similar jazz courses, evening classes and workshops. Experienced vocalists have their own bespoke Jazz Vocal pathway and may attend some of these sessions (click here).
Tutors: Simon Purcell, Julian Siegel, Loz Garratt, Will Glaser + vocal input from Liane Carroll and Sophie Bancroft
Course Aims: To deepen and develop your approaches to playing jazz and improvisational skills.
To apply for this pathway, you will need to possess a prerequisite level of experience and to provide an audio file or YouTube link of your playing (audio quality is not important). For more information or to discuss whether this is a good fit for you, please contact the Summer School Office by email with the subject - Advanced Improv Query.
